Precisely prefabricated (visually and technically tested) finely planed spruce sections are prepared for the self-erected frame construction. The kit includes the cut, pre-drilled HPL panels, and EPDM strips as an intermediate layer. Everything is kept together by a strong frame made of natural Nordic spruce. The Trespa Duo-colour panels are designed in two colours in facade quality and offer many options for a unique design. This modern and durable wood storage is an easy and effective way to keep your firewood sheltered and dry while having a storage solution that looks light and elegant. The structure has no back wall but a wooden batten as reinforcement.

High-quality HPL (High Pressure Laminate) facade panels

The highly durable Trespa Meteon HPL panels in 6 mm thickness are weather-resistant, colour-stable and easy to clean. Thanks to a wood fibre content of over 70 per cent from sustainable forestry, Trespa Meteon panels are considered environmentally friendly wood products and are FSC certified. The panels are not affected by moisture and are not susceptible to weathering, mould or rot. The UV resistance and colour stability comply with the highest score classifications: colours will not change significantly for at least ten years, even under the most severe climatic conditions. The smooth panels have a pore-free surface structure, ensuring that practically no dirt accumulates. Easy cleaning with water and a little household cleaner if necessary.

Dancover expert tip

We recommend you place the Bertilo wood storage on a firm and level surface such as concrete, flagstones, paving slabs or similar. As the wood storage has a wooden base, you must ensure that water does not assemble under it, as it can damage the wooden base over time. Furthermore, we recommend treating the frame – especially the floor elements – with a breathable wood preservative before assembly or right after! Timber is a natural material, and weather conditions will affect the material. In warm and dry weather, the material will lose some internal moisture, causing an inevitable shrinkage of the frame in Nordic spruce.

Conversely, excessive rain will cause a particular swelling of the wooden frame. This process cannot be avoided. Ensure the wood storage is placed with a little distance on all sides to secure air circulation.
